Nylon is not intended to be used in an outdoors environment due to UV rays. Nylon with a coating will last a limited time until rain washes the coating away. Gortex, while light and flexible, becomes brittle when exposed to extended UV rays and will fail. We use a synthetic material that is intended for outdoor use.

By testing various fabrics, we found that the cheaper fabrics wear out, deteriorate due to UV, and quickly fade. We use an expensive fabric that is specifically intended for outdoor use.

Yes, we are the only provider that warrants the Cover for defective workmanship and materials for six months. The manufacturer has a limited warranty on the fabric becoming non-serviceable because of loss of color or strength from normal usage and exposure conditions including sunlight, mildew and atmospheric chemicals. This limited warranty coverage runs from five years of date of purchase.

There are no tools needed. All attachment ropes are pre-cut and labeled for easy installation

The function of the FNB is to receive the reflected signal off the dish and

send it on to the receiver. They are already protected and therefore do not need additional protection.

If you put the cover over the entire satellite antenna, including the dish and the FNB’s, the cover creates a “obstruction” that will move the antenna when the wind blows. When the antenna moves it will diminish or lose the signal from the satellite.

Where other manufacturers use a single attachment device, we use multiple polyester cords that are UV resistant to fasten the cover to the dish. This is a redundancy feature. If one cord fails the others continue to hold the cover onto the dish.
