Foothills Products has outfitted numerous US Coast Guard ships, tugs, cutters, barques, Naval ships and NOAA vessels with our OFFBoard® 15" and 17" Rat Guards.


You can order OffBoard® Rat Guards by emailing Art Onweller or faxing (303-670-5061) a Purchase Requisition. We will then provide a quote.

Joshua Appleby was commissioned in August 8, 1998. The 6th of 14 Keeper-class cutters, it's one of the most advanced cutters currently in the United States Coast Guard's fleet.

She is the first cutter in Coast Guard history to hold this name. Dauntless is named for an aspirational trait, in this case meaning to "persevere fearlessly."

Decisive was first commissioned at the Coast Guard Yard on August 23, 1968, under Commander Eugene Delaney, USCG. Decisive is a 210' medium endurance cutter.

She is the sixth cutter named Diligence and was commissioned in 1964. She has 76 crewmembers and her homeport is Wilmington, North Carolina.

Richard Etheridge is the second of the United States Coast Guard's Sentinel-class cutters. Etheridge was launched in August 2011 and is based in Maimi, Florida.

110' Island Patrol Cutter

The Island-class patrol boat is a class of cutters of the United States Coast Guard. 49 cutters of the class were built, of which 37 remain in commission. Their hull numbers are WPB-1301 through WPB-1349.

154' Sentinel Class Fast Response Cutters

Flores was commissioned‎ on ‎November 3, 2012 and is based in Miami, FL. It's the third of the Fast Response Cutters. Heavily-armed and able to travel at speeds in excess of 28 knots, these cutters are uniquely capable of responding with speed, agility, and power to any crisis.

270' Medium Endurance Cutter

Forward is home ported at the Integraded Support Command (ISC) Portsmouth, VA. Built by Derecktor Shipyard, Middletown, Rhode Island. The keel was laid July 11, 1986, and the ship commissioned August 4, 1990.

378' High Endurance Cutter.

Gallatin was laid down at Avondale Shipyards 17 April 1967, as the seventh ship of her class. Launched 18 November 1967 and commissioned on 20 December 1968. Gallatin served with the United States Coast Guard until 31 March 2014, when she was decommissioned.

154' Sentinel Class Cutter

She is the fourth of six Sentinel-class vessels to be stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was commissioned on March 11, 2016. Built by Bollinger shipyards.  Their motto is "Strength without Bounds."

Legare was laid down July 11, 1986 at Robert Derecktor Shipyard Incorporated of Middletown, Rhode Island. Legare was commissioned August 4, 1990 at her homeport of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Maui is conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the gulf as apart of Combined Task Force 158.  MSO helps set conditions for security and stability.

Midgett is the twelfth of the USCGC's fleet of 378 ft. high endurance cutters. With a crew of 24 officers and one hundred sixty enlisted men and women, she is homeported in Seattle, WA.

Homeported in Ketchikan, Alaska, the CGC Naushon is a 110-foot, multi-mission patrol boat operating in an area of responsibility within the coastal waters of Alaska.
